Consultations

Your first appointment

Every plan begins with an assessment rather than a treatment menu. Here is what that looks like.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes. A full skin history and assessment tells us what is actually driving your concern, which is what determines the plan. In many cases a first treatment can follow in the same appointment.

How long does a consultation take?

Allow 45 minutes. We look at barrier health, pigment and texture, discuss what you have already tried, and map a realistic series with timeframes and costs before anything begins.

Who will I see?

Treatments are delivered by experienced cosmetic nurses under medical oversight. The nurse who assesses you is the nurse who treats you.

What should I bring?

Your current skincare products, or photographs of them, and a list of any medications — particularly retinoids, isotretinoin or hormonal therapies, which change how we plan.

02TreatmentsPlans, comfort, downtime

In clinic

Treatment, day to day

Most concerns respond to a considered series rather than a single appointment. Intensity is always planned around your calendar.

How many treatments will I need?

Typically three to six, spaced two to four weeks apart, then maintenance. Your nurse sets the schedule at consultation and adjusts it as your skin responds.

Is there downtime?

It depends on depth. Lighter protocols leave a mild flush that settles within hours; deeper resurfacing can involve two to four days of dryness and flaking.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe warmth and mild tingling rather than pain. Where a protocol warrants it, we use numbing and cooling to keep the appointment comfortable.

Can I be treated if I have melasma or reactive skin?

Often yes, but the approach changes. Hormonally driven pigment and sensitive skin need a gentler, slower plan — aggressive resurfacing sets both backwards.

When will I see results?

Hydration and radiance are usually visible within days. Pigment, texture and firmness are collagen-dependent and are measured across months, not appointments.

03PracticalBookings and aftercare

Good to know

Bookings, pricing and aftercare

No pressure, no packages sold on the day. You leave with a written plan and know what each stage costs.

How much do treatments cost?

Pricing depends on the protocol and the length of the series. You receive a written plan with costs at consultation, and nothing proceeds until you have agreed to it.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for 24 hours' notice so the appointment can be offered to someone else. Late cancellations may incur a fee against your booking deposit.

What aftercare will I need?

Written aftercare is provided every time. Broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily is non-negotiable, alongside a simple barrier-supporting routine while your skin settles.

Do you prescribe skincare?

Yes. Cosmeceutical prescribing is part of every plan — actives are staged and sequenced so your home routine supports what we do in clinic rather than working against it.
